Northwest Affiliations
Northwest Fuels is proud to be a part of both the British Columbia Premium Carrier Program as well as Avetta (formerly known as PICS auditing).
The BC Premium Carrier Program is a recognition program initiated in partnership with the BC Trucking Association (BCTA). It is based on the premise that sound driving practices lead to safer highways and more competitive businesses.
Our Northwest History
Doug Ames and Dave Pruden both grew up in Terrace, and are familiar with the vast Northwestern area. Doug has a long history in the business, with previous experience in long-haul driving. He has been involved in the industry over many years, and is an active hands-on owner, with an acute awareness of the importance of environmental issues, and safety measures. He is family-oriented and community minded, and very dedicated to the Northern areas and their development. Dave was born in Terrace and and has spent many hours exploring the northern area. He was previously in the marine industry. He is also very family-oriented, and shares Doug’s passion and interest in the environment and overall safety.
Gary Ainscow is the General Manager, and in his previous role he had responsibility for all aspects of Employee Health and Safety Standards.
All of the staff at Northwest Fuels are local, and take great pride in working to provide excellent service to all of our customers. Northwest Fuels has a strong safety record, and is constantly upgrading and keeping current with industry practices and standards.
